John Derian to design Target Home Collection

This fall, Target launches John Derian for Target, an exclusive stationery and home decor collection. Target is committed to enlisting fresh and new designers that create stylish yet affordable products for every room in the home.
Derian, known for his artisan decoupage techniques, will bring his affinity for nature to his new limited-edition collection for Target.
The assortment will be available at Target stores this September, with select items also available on Target.com.
"Our guests want beautiful items for their homes that are affordable and feel like one-of-a-kind creations. We're thrilled to launch the John Derian for Target collection because it satisfies both," said Gina Sprenger, senior vice president merchandising, Target.

John Derian is a New York City-based artist famed for his eccentric and inspired aesthetic. In 1989, he established his eponymous company and pioneered the trend of laying images over a background of script to showcase beautiful imagery.
Derian's decoupage art has adorned plates, platters, paperweights, bowls, urns, lamps and more.
His collection for Target features an assortment of decorative stationery and home decor products that will delight enthusiasts of nature and decoupage.
The focus of the collection is John's whimsical interpretation of nature, including butterflies, birds, vegetables and insects.
The assortment includes items such as a scrapbook kit, photo albums, gift bags and magnets. The home decor items include wall art, shadowboxes, trays and vases.
Derian's unique designs will be accessible to a wider audience at prices ranging from $1.99 for tissue paper to $29.99 for a large cylinder vase.
"This collaboration has been so gratifying because, through Target, I get to share my creations with a much larger audience," said John Derian.
