Hurricane Gustav has been one of the reasons for drop in the crude prices, which in turn has affected ethylene prices across the world.
Ethylene prices showed a descending trend for almost all the importing countries on September 9 due to recent plunge in the crude prices. Prices quoted for Asian, Far Eastern, European, and for The US market showed a steep plunge in comparison to the last week.

Ethylene prices in Europe:
