Market experts suggest that recent fall of crude price, is affecting the current trading scenario of the domestic region. On September 10, propylene prices have shown huge fluctuations over the price list of last week.
On September 10, Propylene prices for Far Eastern and European region saw a huge plunge where as for the United States remained stable in comparison to the prior week.
Propylene prices in Far East region:
Propylene, FOB South Korea, at US $1364-1366 per ton.
Propylene prices in European region:
Propylene (polymerization level), FD Northwest Europe, at Euro 965-970 per metric ton.
Propylene (polymerization level), CIF Northwest Europe, at Euro 995-1000 per metric ton.
Price in the United States:
Propylene (refining level), FAS Houston, at US cent 55.500-56.000 per lb.
