The Texworld India 2008 in Mumbai, the only international exhibition in India for clothing textiles, opens its doors from 10 to 12 October.

Rieter is presenting yarns, fabrics and end products from compact yarn Com4 and rotor yarn ComfoRo , thereby demonstrating the expertise of Rieter as a system supplier. Rieter welcomes the Indian and international customers in Hall 1, Booth E 17.

Systems Supplier
Rieter Spun Yarn Systems has comprehensive know-how across the complete textile process chain. Rieter is the only manufacturer of textile machinery worldwide that provides its customers not only complete plants and systems for the production of ring and rotor yarns, but also experience from processing fibers up to marketing the textiles.

Partner in the Textile Chain
Rieter's task as manufacturer of capital goods is to make spinning mills successful. This demands early recognition of customer requirements and implementation into suitable machines with high customer benefit.

Rieter not only considers the requirements of its own customers but commits itself more and more frequently at the end of the value creation chain.

By taking part in fabric trade fairs (e.g. Texworld), Rieter looks to register fashion trends for cloths and yarns at an early stage and incorporate these in the current machine developments.

Rieter Yarns
The basis for successful brand placement is credibility, integrity and professionalism of the manufacturer as well as a unique product.

Both Rieter as a company and the various yarns fulfill these requirements. The basis is the successful "Listen to the customer" strategy.

Rieter bases its product development on three important customer requirements:
• New and differentiated yarns (Com4, ComfoRo Com4, ComfoRo)
• Machines with lower consumption of resources and energy
• Machines with high productivity for production of high-quality yarns.

Rieter Group
The Rieter Group operates internationally, developing and producing sophisticated systems for the textile and automotive industries.

In the fiscal year 2007 Rieter generated sales of CHF 3'930 million with some 15'000 employees worldwide. The Textile Systems Division accounted for CHF 1'567 million and the Automotive Systems Division for CHF 2'363 million of the total sales.
