High performance textile manufacturer RECASENS USA is launching a new PVC/polyester shade screen product line called RecScreen. Initially introduced in Europe at the TECHTEXTIL FRANKFURT, Europe's leading international trade fair for technical textiles, interest in the new product has been exceptional.

Based on an increasing call for window shade products that reduce UV rays and improve energy efficiency, Recasens has developed the RecScreen polyester shade screen product line.

“RecScreen is great for the fabricator or manufacturer who wants to offer customers a shade screen product that has both environmental benefits and outstanding design and color selection”, notes US Division Manager, Stan Sherman. Because it filters UV rays and improves air circulation, RecScreen can reduce energy costs for the end user by keeping rooms cooler in summer. Plus, RecScreen's antibacterial, lead free coating and fire retardant characteristics provide additional value to the environmentally conscious consumer.

RecScreen is manufactured using the highest quality polyester and PVC that resists breaking and unravelling during fabrication and end use. The product is extremely durable and soft, easy to work with and maintain, and is available in styles that vary in color, weave and light indices. Sherman comments:, “In addition to its extraordinary quality, weave and color selection, RecScreen's width of 118” is unique in the industry, making it highly efficient during production, and adaptable for a variety of applications in the shade screen product marketplace.”

“Because of the distinctive nature of the line, I am not at all surprised by the overwhelmingly positive reception it has received,” said company owner, Rafael Recasens.

The company is currently finalizing their international distribution channels for the product.
