Titan Chemical expands business development activities to gulf region

Titan Chemicals Corp. Bhd. has established a news subsidiary in Dubai to facilitate its business development activities in the Middle East.

"With the investments poured into the petrochemicals sector in the Gulf States during the last few years, the new wave of Middle Eastern capacity is now moving into start-up and operational phases in near term. Titan Chemicals will explore supply chain and business opportunities in the new hub of the petrochemicals industry". said Warren Wilder, Managing Director.

Titan Chemicals' has marketing offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong and representative offices in major cities in China. As a market leader in Malaysia, it offers the broadest product range in polyethylene and polypropylene with a 38% share in the polyolefins sales volume in 2007. In Indonesia, Titan Chemicals' subsidiary has carved a 30% share in the combined Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) and High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) markets.
