Webinar on newly revised procedures for CAFTA-DR availability

On Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 2:00 pm EST, the U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of Textiles and Apparel (OTEXA), will host a free webinar on the newly revised procedures for CAFTA-DR commercial availability proceedings.
The webinar will feature background on the commercial availability program, a discussion of the changes made to the procedures, and a question and answer session for webinar participants with Deputy Assistant Secretary Matt Priest, Janet Heinzen, Director of the Office of Textiles and Apparel, and other senior OTEXA staff.
The Office of Textiles and Apparel (OTEXA) is part of the International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
OTEXA oversees programs and strategies to improve the domestic and international competitiveness of the U.S.fiber, textile, and apparel industries.U.S. Exporters are encouraged to contact OTEXA regarding their exporting problems. Many problems require only a clarification of procedure, while others may be more complicated.
