Global Korea Textile Week to begin from Oct 27

The 3rd annual 'Global Korea Textile Week “LA Int'l Textile Week”, beginning from October 27 - 29, 2008 hosted by KOTRA is set to be the showcase for Korean apparel and textile manufacturers to display their quality garment and fabric goods to the international brands and buying houses congregating under one single platform.

It is going to be a process of transforming the Korean apparel industry in to a Mecca for doing business. During the event, eighty Korean textile and apparel firms are expected participate in the exhibition.

With the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the U.S. and Korea in progress, Korean textiles and garments will be available with more competitive prices in the U.S. market.

In addition, demands for Korean fabrics and garments are increasing significantly each year by the U.S. fashion industry due to their trend-setting styles, qualities, and patterns.

The event will be an excellent opportunity for the U.S. buyers to open outsourcing possibilities with Korean garment manufacturers as well as discover potential resources and business ventures.

As the Korean companies participating in this years show have manufacturing base in Korea as well as China and Southeast Asia, the range of buyers' choice will be extended.

Korean manufacturers with wide range of fashion products such as kids, juniors, young contemporary, women's, men's, accessories and eco-friendly, with innovative design ideas will be participating in 'Global Korea Textile Week LA 2008'.
