VIFF aims to lure international crowd

Vietnam International Fashion Fair (VIFF) 2008, is scheduled to take place at Friendship Culture Palace, No 91 Tran Hung Dao Str, Hanoi, from November 19 to 24. The event is organized by Vietnam National Textile & Garment Group (Vinatex) and Vietfair.

Leading textile and garment manufacturers, accessory suppliers, leather and footwear companies from various countries are expected to participate in the event and organizers have erected nearly 250 stalls for this purpose.

Products that will be displayed here include leather and footwear products, jewelry made of gold, gem stones, and textile – garment material and accessories along with fashion collections by renowned fashion designers.

Vietnam International Fashion Fair, each year, aims to present the latest fashion trend to its visitors.

This exposition is a perfect platform for the domestic apparel industry to promote their products to international buyers and exchange view points. In addition to fortifying the relation between domestic and foreign enterprises, the fair aspires to achieve the garment and footwear sectors' goals in the domestic market in the context of increasing competition in the global market.

Workshops on issues of domestic market development and solution to textile and garment industry will also be organized here.
