Shengze island composite filament market appears dull

In the week that ended November 16, the prices of island composite filament products in Shengze market were stable, but market trade volume did not enlarge. Due to the price drop of polyester filament, overall market of island composite filament appeared to be dull.
Market quotations of island composite filament DTY 215D-225D ranged within 15800-16000 yuan per ton and that of DTY 105D/36F × 37 stood around 18800-20500 per ton.
In Shengze market, trade price of FDY 75D was 12,800 yuan per ton, with the lowest level being 12,600 yuan per ton, almost similar that of previous week.
Purchasing power of island composite filament 150D was stable. Market sale of 105D was moderate, however, demand of FDY 75D declined around the weekend.
Island composite filament market is expected to fluctuate due to cautious procurement from weaving factories and influence of sliding cost in polyester.
