The Merino Company (TMC) has secured another woven manufacturing partner for its worldwide woven service business 'The Woven Club'. Nanshan, China's second largest textile company, recently joined "The Club".

Nanshan will bring to' 'The Woven Club' expert woven manufacturing from its high-tech facilities in Shandong Province, China. Nanshan has already developed an exclusive woven fabric collection for TMC which features an innovative and quality range of 100% Merino wool, men's and women's suiting fabrics made from TMC's unique wool brand platforms.

Commenting on the collection, Cesare Corgatelli, TMC Europe, said "The collection provides our global sales force with a very exciting product offering and new market opportunities. Customers will be able to choose the fabric style they desire, match it with one of our unique and differentiated wool brand platforms, and select their preferred garment manufacturer from our Woven Club to create a truly customised product solution".

"With so many platform options, coupled with Nanshan's expert and innovative manufacturing, the collection is guaranteed to have a significant appeal worldwide".

TMC launched the collection last week and already several major retailers have visited Nanshan to discuss opportunities for their Autumn/Winter 2009 range.

TMC developed 'The Woven Club' to provide its customers an all-inclusive woven service covering fabric manufacturing, garment manufacturing and sales and distribution. Details of other majors who have partnered with TMC's 'The Woven Club' will be released shortly.
