Per capita value of one third companies is fifteen times the rest

According to statistics, per capita value of Chinese textile industry as a whole is 9800 Yuan, but per capita value created by one-third enterprise is 24,800 Yuan while per capita value created by the remaining two-thirds enterprises is only 1600 Yuan.
These figures are a pointer to the fact that it is innovation alone which contributes to performance and not numbers and size. Experts suggest that the industry should adopt technology to add value to their products and thereby increase their overall performance.
They aver that to change from a large textile and garment country into a textile and garment power, industrial transformation and upgrading is a necessity. They add by saying that this international financial tsunami offers an opportunity to many domestic small and medium enterprises to transform their business models
If they can undergo through the labour pains then the enterprises, mainly led by scientific innovation and brand marketing, these companies are bound to become leaders to drive the growth of Chinese textile economy and be ready once the recessionary trends are over.
