As an official event of the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), Material World returns to the Miami Beach Convention Center, April 21-23, 2009 with new features and six new focus categories, including MW Fabric & Trim, MW Source, MW Equip, MW Delivers, MW Performance and MW Green. These categories will be emphasized with dedicated educational programming, special promotions and new product resources.

Strategically timed to showcase Spring/Summer 2010 trends, the Miami Beach edition once again offers sewn product industry members a one-stop global resource for sourcing, fabric, trim and trends.

“For ten years, Material World has successfully delivered the one-stop global fashion production, supply chain and technology event designed for U.S., Canadian, and Latin American industry members,” says Tim von Gal, president, Material World & Technology Solutions. “For the April 2009 Miami Beach edition, we're tapping into some of the most important and fastest growing areas in the apparel supply chain industry today. We're also working closely with our alliance partner AAFA to bring the best possible product representation and educational programming to support these and other growth areas in order to arm Material World attendees with the best tools and strategies they'll need to thrive and prosper in today's challenging business environment.”

“With challenge, comes opportunity,” notes Kevin M. Burke, President & CEO, American Apparel & Footwear Association. “Our industry is changing at blinding speed today. To be successful in high growth marketplaces and delivering sought after product requires knowledge, education and most importantly, partnership. Material World and Technology Solutions offer a venue to take advantage of all three.”
