As a vital "show within a show" at Material World Miami Beach for six years, Technology Solutions will bring together an unrivaled representation of software, solutions and services from every industry category including: planning and forecasting; design and merchandising; product development; pre-production and engineering; sourcing and supplier relationship management; supply chain and production management; logistics and warehouse management; customs and global trade management; product identification and retail systems; and enterprise resource planning.
During the upcoming 2009 Technology Solutions Expo, the educational conference offerings will be expanded to include four in-depth programs addressing the issues of Design & Merchandising Solutions, Product Development Solutions, Sourcing & Supply Chain Management Solutions, Logistics & Distribution Solutions. Titled the Fashion –IT Seminar series, these four programs will be organized and produced by Rick Ludolph, President of Productive Solutions, LLC. In addition, AAFA will host a special IT Headliner Event on Wednesday, April 22 that will bring together some of the IT industry's top names and innovators.

In addition, color and trend presentations from leading forecasting services including Pantone, Stylesight and others will be a key part of the event.
SOLID INDUSTRY SUPPORT & ENDORSEMENTS - Material World is an official event of the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), the national trade association representing apparel, footwear and other sewn products companies. Material World West will debut September 30-October 2, 2009 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, in Los Angeles, CA. Focusing on California's position as a major manufacturing and fashion center, Material World West will bring together a broad base of traditional fabric, sourcing, technology and logistics resources. In addition, the West Coast event will include home fabrics resources and a garment production equipment and machinery section. Building upon Los Angeles' proven position as the place where trends happen, Material World West will also feature expanded trend pavilions and forecasting presentations.
