Polyester staple fibre production dips in November

China's production of polyester staple fibre was estimated at 172,000 tons in November, a decrease of almost 5600 tons or 3.17 percent from the previous month, but representing a year-on-year increase of nearly 6600 tons, or 4.02 percent, according to the statistics (sample enterprises) from the China Textile Circulation Association.
November sales touched 180,000 tons, an increase of nearly 9000 tons, or 5.26 percent, from the previous month and which means a year-on-year rise of nearly 17,000 tons, or 10.69 percent. November stock stood at about 90,000 tons, a drop of nearly 8,000 tons, or 8.07 percent, but showing a year-on-year increase of nearly 29,000 tons, or 47.86 percent.
