GTE'09 unites leading technology providers

On Delhi 16-19 January 2009, GTE'09 started with a promising note and has proved to be a great success with the participants as well as visitors. The dedicated team effort of GTE'09 successfully brought together leading technology providers from the Apparel, Home Furnishing and Leather Industry right from machinery to software, finishers, cutters, spare parts, accessories, trims and embellishments onto a single platform. The exhibition witnessed an unprecedented quality trade visitor footfall amidst growing concern amongst garment machinery and technology providers.

In the back drop of global downturn, participants of GTE'09 gathered to display a combination of tested technology on one hand and many new upgraded technologies on the other. Also a wide spectrum of garment accessories, embellishments trims were on display. The visitation from day one proved to be fruitful to the participants and beyond their expectation under the prevailing market conditions.

Over 22,000 visitors from all corners of India thronged the venue to look at the impressive lineup of technology required to make a fine garment. The choice of the venue being close to the garmenting hub at Okhla and proximity to other centers like Faridabad, Noida, Gandhinagar, etc also played an important role in the huge visitor turnout.

Many new products were launched for the first time in India during GTE'09 Delhi.

Ramsons Garment Finishing Equipment Pvt Ltd., one of the leaders in the Industry and a strong supporter of GTE, launched Dry Cleaning Machine (RAMA) in a Joint Venture with AMALIND of Italy.

Studio Next Inc, a regular participant in GTE Exhibitions and a distributor of CAD/CAM Software of Richpeace launched a user friendly software for bags and shoe design.

Usha International presented its latest embroidery machine in GTE'09. The latest MEMORY CRAFT 2009 is targeted to the small-scale producers, designers and the boutiques.

Welco Garment Machines is showcasing the Audaces Digiflash, which digitizes the pattern with a digital camera enabling clear detection of contour and control pointers automatically.

BSM and Toe Tech launched the latest technology in shoe making and leather garments for the first time in GTE.

H.C.A. Garment Machinery Pvt Ltd., a 99 year old company displayed prominent brands such as Pfaff, Kansai, Highlead, SWF, A.S.S. Merrow, Racing, Grand, UZU, Duke and Strobel. They are a strong supporter and regular participant in GTE Exhibitions.

Megha Anand, Director Sales and Marketing found the overall response at the exhibition both in terms of quality visitors and business enquiries highly satisfactory.

India Industrial Garment Machines Pvt Ltd.(IIGM) one of the major company in the Industry and also a regular participant at GTE Exhibitions had a very impressive product display and generated many business enquiries. Some of the major brands on display were Juki, Yamato, Gerber, Eton and Hoffman.

Tajima another leader in the embroidery machines in the world displayed super Multi-head TFGN Series Embroidery machine and has 56 multi-head useful in a wide range of fields.
