Jakob Schlaepfer This St Gallen company always attracts great attention for its printing techniques. Bijoux and film applications, glitter techniques, laser cut and inkjet prints rank highly in the haute couture and Prêtà- Porter studios. The new collection features interesting techniques and upcoming colour trends: white, transparent powder pastels, metallic and iridescent notes join forces in powerful luminous eye-catching colours.

Schoeller Textil AG - Coolness, classical style and play on light – those concepts define the Schoeller Textil summer collection 2010. The new “Coldblack” finishing technique ensures that dark textiles in particular resist heat and therefore remain cooler. As an added benefit, “Coldblack” provides protection against harmful UV radiation for all colours.

Stotz & Co. AG - The Zurich-based company attracts attention with its fashionable ladies garment fabrics, non-iron shirt and blouse fabrics made of 100% cotton. It benefits from Swiss Fabric Öko Tex 100 certification and specialises in fine thread full twist grades. The trends for the summer are flowers, finely structured as jacquards and bright-woven, new optical effects and embroidered motifs with superimposed fabric and embroidery.

Weisbrod-Zürrer AG - The silk-weaving mill continues to specialise in a range of silk products – silk ties are one prominent feature of the product line. As trends for summer 2010, Weisbrod-Zürrer AG presents two-colour warp scherlis, optical ribbon effects in several different versions, flowing brocades, fringed fabrics with raffia and painted panels.

The following members of the Swiss Textile Federation are exhibiting at Expofil:

Bühler Hermann AG and Müller Johann AG - These two companies develop products jointly and have been working with the natural fibre cotton for many years. One of the latest products called “BeDry Swiss Cotton” is made from the finest Supima cotton and enables natural cotton to be combined with synthetic fibre. This combination immediately absorbs moisture in the textiles which is then released and evaporates rapidly.

Camenzind + Co. AG - The range of products from this spinning mill includes high grade yarns and twists in 100 percent schappe silk (Bombyx Mori), 100 per cent tussah silk and blends of schappe silk and various natural fibres such as wool, cotton, cashmere, linen or baby camel. Since 2007, Camenzind + Co. AG have had its own product label “Swiss Mountain Silk”. All products bearing this label meet the highest quality standards. They are made in Switzerland and benefit from Ökotex Standard 100 certification.
