Textillery Head Designer Judith Rose will unveil new hand-woven throw designs in textures and colors she expects to come on strong during the remainder of the year at the Spring 2009 International Home Furnishings Market (IHFM) in High Point, NC.

On view in Textillery's Design Center Showroom at the IHFC, space 408, the newest designs showcase spring blue, "wasabi" green and pastel plaid colorways, textures and tones reflective of menswear twills and tweeds, and colorful new twills crafted from bamboo yarns.

SPRING BLUES - ON THE WATERFRONT
"Blue endures as a tranquil, peaceful color and now, more than ever, people are looking for a soothing escape from the stresses of our daily lives," observes Rose. "Fueled by this escapism, and to some degree, our growing awareness and concern for the environment around us, blue tones reflective of the ocean, waterfront and skies should be very well received at retail."

New Textillery blues for 2009 include:
1. Style BTVS NOPA: Mid-weight, variegated twill bamboo throw shown in natural with variegated opal tones. Materials -- 73% bamboo, 27% cotton. Finished with a 2" fringe. Hand or machine washable.

2. Style ACM PL-DCO: Lightweight plaid throw with mid-weight ribbed accent. Shown in dark cobalt with midnight, ink, periwinkle and pool accents. 100% rayon chenille throw. Finished with a 6" fringe.

NEW MENSWEAR TWILLS & TWEEDS
"Earthy, menswear-inspired tones and textures offer wonderful neutral accents for today's home," says Rose. "Whether a room is formal or informal, the textural looks of tweeds and twills, as well as neutral browns, tans, blacks and other softer colors, can add warm, welcoming looks."

Among the new menswear designs from Textillery include:
