Reliance Industries wins prestigious award from FICCI

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has been awarded the prestigious “Annual FICCI Awards 2007-08” in the category of 'Excellence in Science & Technology & Technological Innovation'. The award was presented to Mr. H. S. Kohli, Executive Director, RIL by Hon'ble Minister of External Affairs, Shri. Pranab Mukherjee at the Inaugural Session of FICCI's Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the FICCI Golden Jubilee Auditorium in the city.
The Annual FICCI Awards have attained a premier stature for recognizing outstanding achievements and contributions amongst Indian businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals. The Awards, instituted in 1967, follow a unique, systematic and rigorous three-tier selection process and final selection is made by a special Jury of eminent persons drawn from the Corporate and Social spheres. The Jury for the Annual FICCI Awards 2007-08 was headed by Justice P N Bhagwati, Former Chief Justice of India.
FICCI's AGM and the award ceremony was attended by senior leaders of business from across the country, diplomats, civil servants, top members of think thanks and Media both print and electronic, in large numbers.
