Brustio acquisition to strengthen TMI product offering to yarn market

The TMI Group of Companies announces the acquisition of testing equipment assets of Brustio Antonio srl, located in Galliate, Italy. Brustio manufactures a line of test instruments since 1946 for the Textile Yarn industry including the model ADF- automated tensile testing device for measuring continuous strength of yarns.

"We are very excited to add the Brustio product line to our group of Companies", says John Sullivan, owner of the TMI Group of Companies. "The Brustio acquisition will strengthen our global product offering to the Textile Yarn Market and complement our existing yarn measurement instruments and machines manufactured by Lawson Hemphill, Swansea, Mass., USA.

Lawson-Hemphill, Swansea, Mass., USA is a world leader in yarn testing machines and measuring equipment for Textile and Nonwoven industries.

The TMI Group of Companies, Ronkonkona, NY, USA, is a global organization that provides laboratory testing solutions to measure quality of materials and consumer products for a variety of industries including packaging films, paper, pulp, plastics, adhesives, foil, inks, coatings, nonwoven, textile and corrugated industries.
