Fabrics from new thermostat blended yarn can store heat

Recently, Shandong De Mian Incorporated Company and Tianjin Bai Yi Er Kang Health Care Company have jointly developed knitting yarn by successful blending thermostat fibre, bamboo carbon fibre and fine cotton.
This modified bamboo carbon viscose fiber is produced by melting carbonized bamboo powder into fibre during the production process. The fibre carries natural antibacterial properties.
This thermostat fibre uses advanced polymer spinning technology to create a new type of thermal insulation material. It has features of silky touch feel, quick-drying, moisture absorption, anti-pilling and light weight but provides warmth.
The fibre can store heat and promote flow of blood in the body, so it is applicable to production of fabrics for mountaineering clothes, ski clothes, children's sleeping bags, thermal underwear, etc.
The product is expected to have broad market prospects and a wide range of applications when put in to commercial production.
