IFAI is now accepting entries for the 2009 International Achievement Awards competition. Winning projects will be announced at the IFAI Expo 2009 in San Diego.
WHO CAN ENTER:
Designers, manufacturers, or subcontractors of specialty fabric end-products
DOES MY PROJECT QUALIFY?
Projects must fit into one of the 28 IAA categories, be an end-product manufactured with a specialty fabric, and must fulfill a client's specific need or provide a design solution.
HOW TO ENTER:
1.Complete the online entry form, you'll need:
Fabric & Contributor Information:
-Fabric supplier, subcontractor, engineer, architect, etc.
Description of your project; Your project description should answer these questions:-What is the project all about?
-What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?
-In which city, state, and country was the project installed or used?
-What is unique or complex about the project?
-What were the results of this project?
-Is there any other relevant information that may impact the judges' decision?
2.Pay fee:
All participants must pay a $50 registration fee. Members receive four entries with the registration fee. Additional entries cost is $25. Nonmembers pay $25 per entry and a $50 registration fee.
3.Upload images:
-2-4 high-resolution digital images of the project (overall and varying angles)
-300 DPI (set your digital camera to its highest settings), 5 x 7 inch minimum
-Remember: Most film processors provide digital copies of non-digital film
-Please use TIFF, EPS, or JPEG format for images
-Save your images to your computer for your records
-After your entry is processed, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
