Lifestyles retailer Rosebys plans on 240 outlets

Rosebys Interiors India Ltd, while unveiling its three stores in the city of Ahmedabad in the second week of December, had declared its intent to raise the store count to 100 across India by March 2009. Earlier the company had kick started its retail operations in India, by simultaneously opening six stores in the state of Punjab.
As of date, the company has opened 30 stores and plans to touch 70 outlets in the next few weeks. This store count is in variance to the intent to open 100 outlets by March 2009. In the interim, Rosebys has increased its footprint across the Indian sub-continent by opening stores in West Bengal, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
A home décor and lifestyles products company, Rosebys had declared its intent to become one of the leading home furnishings and décor Company in the country. The company is setting up a pan India network of franchisee and company owned stores in the coming months and now plans to take store count to 240 by March 2010.
