Buyers for China dominated this week's sales, with support from India and Europe.
Sales will be held in Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle next week, when 45,134 bales are currently rostered for sale. Present estimates for the following two sales are 46,170 and 45,000 bales, respectively. A decrease of 7.2% over the three sale period when compared with last year.
In South African sales, where 11,369 bales were on offer, the Cape Wools Indicator was up by 6.3% since last week against a 6.1% depreciation of the Rand against the US Dollar and a 3.2% depreciation against the Euro.
