A caprolactam plant of Japan based Ube Industries is likely to go off-stream in the middle of March. This is being done as part of an annual maintenance which was pre-scheduled earlier in the year.
A company source informed fibre2fashion that the news of the shutdown was correct and added by saying that the plant which had gone off-stream in January, is now running at 8-90 percent capacity.
Ube Industries operates three caprolactam plants in its fold and in over a century of business operations has in its portfolio chemicals utilized in diverse applications ranging from articles for daily use to applications for aerospace industry
