Except few markets ethylene prices fall across the world

After having grown for a few days, prices of ethylene in Northeast Asian markets once again seem to be in the declining mode, though prices quoted for Southeast Asia market seem to be stable for the fourth consecutive week.
Ethylene prices for CFR Northeast Asia were quoted at US $630-635 per metric ton, compared to $675-685 per metric ton, in the previous week and ethylene prices for CFR Southeast Asia, continued to remain stable at $605-615 per metric ton.
Ethylene prices for the Far East region, (FOB South Korea) and (FOB Japan), however grew from $595 per metric ton to $608 per metric ton. In the last week, the prices in both the major markets had remained steady, in comparison to its previous week.
In the Europe region, prices of ethylene in FD Northwest Europe which had stayed flat in the previous week fell from €625-630 per metric ton to €595-605 per metric ton, while those of CIF Northwest Europe fell from $705-715 per metric ton to $690-700 per metric ton.
But the biggest fall was registered by the US FAS Houston markets, the declining trend which began from last week by falling from US cent 24.005-24.255 per pound to US cent 22.255-22.505 per pound.
