Sales will be in recess next week and resume in the week commencing 20 April, when 58,300 bales are currently rostered for sale in Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle. The present estimate for the following sale is 48,050 bales, an increase of 2.2% over the two sale period when compared with last year.
In South African sales, where 12,102 bales were on offer, the Cape Wools Indicator was up by 1.1% since the last sale two weeks ago against a 3.5% appreciation of the Rand against the US Dollar and a 5.5% appreciation against the Euro.
