Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development informed that 'The Vietnam Craft Village Festival 2009' is starting from June 10th in Thuong Bac Park, Hue city and will continue till 14th of the same month.

This festival will be a package of various activities, which will include exhibition of products from Vietnamese craft village, showcasing traditional handicrafts, display of photographs of Vietnamese ancient and current craft villages, seminars on development of craft villages, costumes of ethnic minorities and many folk arts.

This festival seems to be a better opportunity for all the craft villages in the country to search for investment & trade cooperation with domestic and international partners. Along with this, craft villages will also get a chance to display their unique products, through which people will come to know about the traditional handicrafts from Vietnamese craft villages.

The festival will prove to be a helping hand to conserve and develop nation's traditional cultural activities and to enhance craftwork in villages of the country.
