Propylene prices in US & Europe rebound, falls in Far East

Propylene prices which had been moving northwards in the Far East region for most part of the last three fortnights, had started losing the gains in the previous week and did so again yesterday, by falling marginally from $ 851-853 per ton to $ 849-851 per ton.
However, after having fallen in the previous week, Propylene (polymerization level), FD Northwest Europe and CIF Northwest rebounded from €422-432 per metric ton and €407-417 per metric ton, respectively to €450-460 per metric ton and €435-445 per metric ton respectively on Wednesday.
The US markets, which had fallen on last Wednesday after having rebounded in the previous two weeks, once gain picked pace and moved from US cent 22.505-22.755 per lb to US cent 23.63-23.83 per lb on April 22.
