The Chairman of the exhibition committee Mr Mahendra Kajiwala gave out details and the profile of the exhibitors and the seminars on various subjects which had been arranged for the benefit of the participants as well as the visitors. There are nearly 125 exhibitors from across the entire value chain who took part in the expo.

Later on, Mr Arun Jariwala, Chairman of Federation of Indian Art Silk Weaving Industry (FIASWI), explained the growth chart of the textile industry in Surat and said that the way cotton industry has grown by leaps and bounds, the very same opportunities exist in the man-made fibre industry too, of which Surat will take full advantage.
