A Taiwan based and world's leading professional non-woven manufacturing equipment company has recently launched a "Vertical garden materials package". The green paint carpet with core technology patents will speed up landscaping, reduce room temperature and improve air pollution.

Chairman of Shoou Shyng Machinery Ltd, Mr Wang Shuiquan points out that the entire package of vertical garden materials consists of irrigation systems and recycling equipment, rain water recycling equipment, wall planting blanket materials (the green paint carpet), potted plants, green screen and a full set of combined green frame, orchard and vegetable garden coverage or mats, green paint carpet and composite needle punching system, long-fiber composite filament cloth and SFB needle punching system.

These products can be used in homes, communities, public space and the roof, etc., to save energy and reduce carbon. They can also set up vertical gardens in factories, hotels and restaurants, banquet facilities as landscaping and since 80 percent of the materials are recycled materials, which can be recovered, so they are also highly environmentally friendly.

As a result of this invention, people can green their environment as well as put the green carpet on their roof tops to reduce the house temperatures to a considerable extent. According to the Chairman, by application of green walls, indoor temperatures can be reduced by nearly 5 degrees. The technology can help buildings save energy, reduce carbon, and improve air quality.
