Wilson introduces line of official NFL inspired golf bags
May '09
Wilson Golf recently announced its agreement as the Official NFL (National Football League) logo golf bag for 2009. Since 1941, Wilson Sporting Goods Co. has been the Official Football of the NFL, including every Super Bowl game ever played. With this addition to the 2009 product line, Wilson Golf helps extend fans' love of their favorite NFL team from the football field to the golf course.

Available in all official NFL team logos and colors, the Wilson NFL golf bags are available in both cart and carry options. Several of the best selling teams include the Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots, Washington Redskins, Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys, among others.

“As a nearly century-old American brand, Wilson Sporting Goods Co. has a rich history in both football and golf and a strong connection to fans across the sports spectrum,” said Tim Clarke, general manager of Wilson Golf. “The partnership of Wilson Golf and the NFL is a natural fit and we're thrilled to offer the official logoed bag to devoted NFL fans.”

NFL Cart Bag
The NFL cart bag features a 9” x 8'' top with a 14-way divider and solid tube construction. Storage capacity is abundant in the NFL cart bag with five closed pockets – including two large side clothing pockets, two large front pockets for accessories and a premium velour pocket for valuables. The series also includes an external putter well holder, towel and glove holder and a holder for an umbrella.

NFL Carry Bag
For those golfers who enjoy walking the course, the NFL carry bag is extremely lightweight (5.7 lbs). The carry bag, manufactured with a mixed fabric construction, has a mesh-covered five-way divider and a dual shoulder strap, with an optional single strap. The NFL carry bag also has four closed pockets, including a large ball pocket, full-length clothing pocket and velour pocket for valuables. The stand of the NFL carry bag is designed with foot paddle activation, a solid bracket top and stronger legs for stability. The NFL carry bag offers a detachable travel or rain hood, a towel and glove holder, and an umbrella holder with a gusset sleeve.
