Unicharm Corp to triple production of masks

Due to the global threat of swine flu, Unicharm, the sanitary goods manufacturer is ready to increase the production of masks, three times more than its current production, which is also partially in response to the government, said Unicharm Corp. President Mr Takahisa Takahara
Rising awareness of health among the people has gradually increased the sales of masks in recent years. A 40 percent increase in the sales of masks was being expected by Unicharm for the current year to March 2010.
Unicharm Corp deals in baby and child care products centering on disposable diapers, feminine sanitary goods such as napkins and tampons, urinary care products for senior citizens, cleaning products such as cleaning sheets, wet tissues, health care products such as three-dimensional face masks and pet care products.
