To meet with the social objectives, Ministry of Textiles have also plans to set up prestigious project of Indian Textile Plaza at the land of Jehangir Textile Mills, Ahmedabad (closed NTC mill):
India Textile Plaza:
Indian Textile Plaza is proposed to be constructed at the land of Jehangir Textile Mills, Ahmedabad (closed NTC mill) with facilities like Handloom & Handicrafts Mall, Exhibition Hall, Convention Hall, Theater Complex, Food Court, Children Plaza, Youth & Women Training Center & City Plaza by NTC forming SPV with National Building Construction Corporation(NBCC). The work of India Textile Plaza is in progress.
