Propylene prices fall in Asia, rise in Europe & US

Propylene prices in the Far East region, which had shed gains in the previous three weeks, continued to do yesterday too, by falling from US $834-836 per ton to $810-812 per ton.
Prices of Propylene (polymerization level), FD Northwest Europe and CIF Northwest which had stayed flat for two consecutive weeks, grew from €450-460 per metric ton to €520-530 per metric ton and €435-445 per metric ton to €510-520 per metric ton respectively on Wednesday.
The US markets, which had picked pace in the previous two weeks, kept up the momentum once again on Wednesday and moved marginally from US cent 26.880-27.130 per lb to US cent 27.255-27.505 per lb
