The Sulzer Textil P7300HP projectile weaving machine is the right machine for weaving very dense, heavy and extra-wide technical fabrics.
The preconditions for successful production of technical textiles in a highly competitive market are know-how, innovation and the right weaving technology, plus a strong and reliable partner. ITEMA Weaving has been the leading manufacturer of weaving machines for technical applications for many years, and can supply the appropriate weft insertion system, with the necessary special equipment, to meet every requirement.

Thanks to long experience in the construction of standard and customized weaving machines, ITEMA Weaving personifies the strength of Italian inventiveness, Swiss precision and Chinese cost leadership. ITEMA Weaving is the only manufacturer offering all three leading weft insertion systems: in addition to rapier and air-jet weaving machines, we are unique in offering projectile technology.

Sulzer Textil P7300HP Weaving Machine
More than 150,000 Sulzer Textil projectile weaving machines are in operation worldwide, producing high-quality fabrics. The rugged P7300HP projectile weaving machine is the right machine for weaving very dense, heavy and extra-wide technical fabrics. The projectile weaving machine ensures high productivity, user-friendly operation and top fabric quality. Available in a wide variety of customized versions, the P7300HP meets virtually every conceivable market requirement.

The robust, technologically mature engineering design gives the textile industry the following ad-vantages:
• low power consumption
• no material loss, thanks to tucked selvedges
• top reliability, functionality, and ease of operation
• low servicing and maintenance costs
• long-term retention of value thanks to upgrades.

Sulzer Textil G6500 Rapier Weaving Machine
The globally successful Sulzer Textil G6500 rapier weaving machine also excels in the production of technical textiles. Thanks to its shed geometry, its high-performance and adaptable gripper head, and the “Rotocut” rotary weft cutter, it is ideal for the production of aramid fabrics, ultrafine filter fabrics and labels. Active Rapier Technology (ART) is capable of inserting an unlimited range of weft yarns into the same fabric. In the production of plain and OPW (one-piece-woven) airbags with jacquard machines, the Sulzer Textil G6500 sets the standard.

Customized Weaving Technology
Tailor-made weaving machine construction to produce your special fabric! Industrial textile production calls for modern, high-performance weaving machines. The principle of Customized Weaving Technology is to supply customers with weaving machines built specifically for their products. These include, for instance, agrotextiles and geotextiles, conveyor belts, sailcloth, cinema and theatre screens, as well as filtering fabrics, tarpaulins and wire fabrics. Customized Weaving Technology enables our customers to conquer new markets.

First choice for heavy industrial textiles:
• large weaving width up to 655 cm
• reinforced construction
• beat-up force up to 15,000 N/m

Our global presence in more than 90 countries ensures fast and reliable attention to your service needs. All this makes ITEMA Weaving a competent, ideal partner for all manufacturers of technical tex-tiles.

We will be glad to show you our solutions at Techtextil in Frankfurt (16 - 18 June 2009). Visit us at Booth F02 in Hall 3.0.
