A veteran financial industry journalist and observer who has covered every economic crisis since the crash of 1987, Ron Insana's keynote address, 'Now What? Managing Money through the Economic Storm' on Sept. 23, 8:30 am at the San Diego Convention Center will captivate IFAI Expo 2009 attendees with his personal perspective on managing through this crisis.

Now is the time to be smart and not make speculative mistakes involving your finances, and Ron will explain how to separate fact versus myth in understanding the cause and evolution of the crisis; and what types of government solutions are needed to provide stability that the private sector can't fund on its own.

For over two decades, Insana has been a familiar face on business television, spending 22 years as a veteran anchor at CNBC and its forerunner, the Financial News Network. He has written for USA Today, Money magazine; and hosts a radio show, "The Market Score Board Report With Ron Insana" currently in national syndication through Compass Media Networks.

He is also well-known as an author, having written several books about Wall Street and the financial markets: Traders' Tales, a compendium of anecdotes about Wall Street life; The Message of the Markets; Trendwatching: Don't be Fooled by the Next Investment Fad, Mania, or Bubble; and his latest in 2009: Dressed for Distress. Ron was nominated for a News and Documentary Emmy Award as part of NBC's coverage of 9/11, and in 1999 was named one of the top 100 business news journalists of the century by TJFR Group. Hear Ron Insana on CNBC's "Closing Bell."
