3rd Salon Textil displays latest trends in textile & clothing industry

The event also expects to receive as visitors independent professionals in the fields of marketing, advertising, communications, university deans, graduate and undergraduate students in the textile and apparel sectors from the main cities in Colombia. This public will be able to update their knowledge on market trends and learn about the latest in machinery and manufacturing, participate in the academic events and gather first-hand information on the sector.

In 2008, the 2nd Salón Textil experienced substantial growth compared to the first edition of the event. 177 exhibitors came together in 4,824 m2 of exhibit area and received over 15,700 visitors who enjoyed a high-quality display and participated in a wide variety of academic events. Also, thanks to the alliance between Corferias and the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá, the event received 104 international buyers from Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, United States, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Canada, Paraguay, Chile, Spain, Guatemala and Panama, mainly.
