Worldwide ethylene prices continue ascent

Ethylene prices for CFR Northeast Asia rose smartly from last Wednesday's level of US $826-828 per metric ton to $839-841 per metric ton, however, ethylene prices for CFR Southeast fell from $835-837 per metric ton to $828-830 per metric ton on June 10.
Ethylene prices in the FD Northwest European markets too firmed up from levels attained on June 3 and bounced back from last weeks level of €595-600 per metric ton to €600-605 per metric ton, yesterday.
Ethylene prices for CIF Northwest Europe on the other hand stayed put at prices prevailing on previous Wednesday at $760-770 per metric ton.
Prices of ethylene in the US market of Houston which had managed to recover from most of the losses in the previous few weeks, continued to ascend from US cent 24.630-24.880 per pound to US cent 25.880-26.130 per pound.
