Behind the Seams at Yorkshire Fashion Week

The Textile Centre of Excellence and Skillfast-UK, the Sector Skills Council for fashion and textiles is holding a special VIP viewing of our Behind the Seams exhibition at Yorkshire Fashion Week. The event will be taking place at the Galpharm Stadium in Huddersfield on Friday 26th June.
The exhibition takes a look at the intricate skills and craftsmanship that go into making iconic fashion and textiles products, and honours the skills heroes who work “behind the seams” in our top companies. Famous brands such as Mulberry, Jasper Conran, English Eccentrics, Johnstons of Elgin, Trickers and Henry Poole of Savile Row are included in the exhibition, and Yorkshire's worldwide reputation for quality textiles is represented by Bower Roebuck & Co, the Huddersfield-based cloth maker.
This VIP showing will be attended by Yorkshire's most important fashion and textiles companies and stakeholders as the event ties in with Yorkshire Fashion Week. After the exhibition, the Gala Show will take place where young designers from the region will catwalk their latest designs.
