Sinopec a major petrochemical supplier has increased and also unified the prices of benzene across all its branches. When compared with those prevailing on June 11, the prices have increased by around 200-400 Yuan per ton.
On June 18, ex-factory price of Benzene from Guangzhou Petrochemical under Sinopec has been quoted at 5,600 Yuan. The same unified price has also been implemented for Jiu Jiang Petrochemical, Shanghai Petrochemical, Yangzi Petrochemical, Zhen Hai Refinery under Sinopec Shanghai Sales Branch.
Ex-factory price of Benzene from Sinopec Beijing branch is implemented at 5,600 Yuan per ton which also includes, Tianjin Petrochemical, Shijiazhuang Petrochemical, Zhonigyuan Ethylene, Qilu Petrochemical, Qiangdao Great Refinery.
Sinopec Central China Branch has also implemented ex-factory price of Benzene at 5,600 Yuan per ton, including that of Wuhan Petrochemical, Changling Refinery, Luoyang Petrochemical, Jinmen Petrochemical and Zhongyuan Petrochemical.
Ex-factory price of Benzene from Northeast Marketing Company of China National Petroleum has been quoted at 5,450 Yuan per ton, which is mainly provided to units within the system, with not much supply for external enterprises.
