In the textile and apparel industry, product quality is calculated in terms of quality and standard of fibers, yarns, fabric construction, colors fastness, surface designs and the final finished garments products.
Testing parameters are based on the tensile strength, seam properties, color fatness, piling, and tear strength of the textiles. Various other steps are also taken to improve the performance of these testing parameters.
Quality control Standards for export are set in a tough way, as it means a matter of prestige for the country from which the company exports the goods. Quality standards like ASTM, AATCC, BS, DIN and JIS & ISO must be recognized and accepted by all levels of management.
