Yarnex to be held at India Knit Fair Complex in September

The first ever sourcing event of its kind, the India International Yarn Exhibition - Yarnex 2009 is slated to be held in Tirupur, the textile hub of South India from September 4 - 6, 2009.
Tirupur is known the world over as India's knitwear capital with close proximity to major textile weaving centers like Coimbatore, Dindigul, Erode, Karur, Madurai, Salem,Virudhunagar as well as the major garmenting cities of Chennai & Bangalore amongst others.
“As an upstream segment of the production chain, the yarn and fibre industry requires a specialized trade event. Yarnex 2009 provides a convenient and ideal location for yarn and fibre producers to meet textile manufacturers directly,” said Mr P. Krishnamurthy, CEO, S S Media & Marketing, Bangalore, organizers of the show.
The show is being held at the India Knit Fair Complex, the centrally air-conditioned venue plays host to several Indian and global trade events. More importantly the India Knit Fair Complex is located in proximity to the main city and the apparel and textile parks.
The three-day event will bring together under one roof manufacturers of natural fibres including cotton, wool, silk and linen/ramie; regenerated and synthetic man-made fibres and yarns; specialty products; elastic, fancy and blended yarns; quality assurance, chemicals and auxilaries and CAD related services, amongst others, from across the country and overseas.
The objective of Yarnex is to assemble the manufacturers of yarns and fibres from all over the world into a single arena. The event will provide an excellent opportunity to meet with the weavers and knitters, designers and other top leaders of the industry face to face. The exhibition is open to trade visitors only. Moreover, Yarnex 2009 will provide wonderful chance to get updated with the latest developments in yarns across the fibre groups. .
The targeted visitors at Yarnex 2009 are decision makers from international buying houses and buying agents, composite mills, apparel brands, knitters, power loom weavers, distributors and wholesalers, importers / exporters, fashion designers, fashion labels etc., from India as well as abroad.
Entry to Yarnex is strictly for trade visitors only, and will allow companies to interact and conduct business in a non-cluttered and extremely business-like environment. Yarnex 2009 comes from the house of S S Media & Marketing, organizers of the Fabrics & Accessories Trade Show which is held in Bangalore and which recently completed its sixth successful year.
