Shanghai branch of Sinopec implements price hike in Benzene

On July 9, the unified quoted price for Guangzhou Petrochemical, Maoming Petrochemical, Zhanjing Dongxing under South China Sales Branch of Sinopec stood at 5,800 Yuan per ton.
However, the unified implemented price for East China Sales Branch of Sinopec increased prices by 300 Yuan to 6,100 yuan per ton, which includes Shanghai Petrochemical, Jinling Petrochemical and Zhenhai Refinery.
The rest of the branches like Beijing branch and Central China branch did not increase prices and maintained them at 5,800 Yuan per ton along with all the petrochemical plants under their jurisdiction on July 9.
On July 9, price of Benzene quoted by Northeast Marketing Company of China National Petroleum stood at 5,650 Yuan per ton, but the raw material is mainly provided to units within the system, with nominal supply for external enterprises.
