PTA markets in stalemate on July 9

On July 9, the atmosphere in China's PTA spot market imports sank in to a stalemate as companies quoted around US $855-860 per ton, while counteroffers from buyers mainly focused around $850 per ton which did not translate in to business.
In East China, PTA domestic market was stable, market offers were around 7150-7200 Yuan per ton, and negotiations were done near about 7050-7100 Yuan per ton. For lower volumes, buyers were willing to offer up to 7200 Yuan per ton.
Processing enterprises in lower reaches took a wait-and-see attitude, due to which real offers were scarce.
