Liquid repellent coating company receives cash infusion

P2i, which has pioneered a liquid repellent coating to be applied on footwear and clothing, has recently received a cash infusion of £4.1 million.
This in turn has enabled the company to move in to a bigger office and also has nearly doubled the head count of its staff and now employs 32 people.
The company had recently won the Oxfordshire Business Award in the innovation category and also has opened an office in Georgia, USA.
P2i was set up in 2004 to commercialize super liquid-repellent treatments developed by the Defense Ministry and has expanded rapidly in the last few years.
This investment is expected to help the company to increase its business by exploiting the full potential of its products in new regions and territories.
