Korean technical know-how to assist textile industry

The South Korean Industrial Technologies Research Institute (KITECH) has conducted a survey in the textile industry of Uzbekistan which reveals that the factors such as lack of highly qualified specialists in the industry, impedes the rapid development of the industry in the country.
Attracting foreign investments in to the sector leads to modernization of equipments, which requires respective training of the personnel. KITECH conducts seminars with Uzbek colleagues and sends specialists to Korea as well as brings Korean consultants to Uzbekistan, and pays for all costs.
