NHHDC to provide loom parts in absence of local dealers

An arrangement has been made under which the Nagaland Handloom & Handicraft Development Corporation (NHHDC) will supply loom and weaving unit accessories, in the absence of the suppliers of loom parts and accessories of weaving.
This decision was taken, after a joint consultation of the NHHDC with the stakeholders of the handloom weaving Scheme PMEGP, launched by the Ministry of MSME, government of India, through the nodal agency, KVIC, in the state of Nagaland.
Under this facility, Manipuri Fly Shuttle loom and accessories will be provided to potential beneficiaries who undertake traditional handloom weaving, under the PMEGP scheme.
