Clariant's new generation products for leather

The Leather Business of Clariant Chemicals (India) Ltd. launched new generation products for processing and dyeing concepts at its Wet End Chemicals workshop organized recently. Themed 'Global shoe concept and Article based promotion techniques', the workshop provided a launching pad for new products with the latest, updated technical and application know how on leather processing and dyeing concepts'.
The new products launched included:
• Granofin F-60 liq. - Organic metal free wet white tanning agent for chrome free tanning.
• Retal G liq. - Glutaraldehyde based organic tanning agent with excellent tanning and retanning properties. Ideal for metal free tanning.
• Derminol SO-31 liq. - Synthetic light weight fat liquor for very soft articles like garment and shoe nappa.
• Derminol SO-30 liq. - Synthetic fat liquor stable to acids and mineral salts and helps chrome distribution when used in Tanning.
• Derminol CO-51 liq. - New generation semi synthetic fat liquor ideal for shoe upper as a compact.
• Tanicor CRF p, DRF p - Replacement syntans with good bleaching properties and very low formaldehyde.
• Tergotan ARF p - Resin syntan with low formaldehyde. Good selective filling and tightening property.
“Clariant's innovation in processing includes chrome free leathers, low formaldehyde recipes, innovative articles and new application methods of leather processing. Colorimetry, healthy dyeing techniques, new dyeing concepts are the key with the introduction of these key global dyestuffs in local manufacturing”, explained Mr. P. Rajasekaran, Head of Leather Business Clariant Chemicals (India) Ltd.
The Global Promotional Managers Mr. Mark Bartle from Clariant UK and Mr. Rafael Jiménez Tenllado from Clariant Spain pointed out, ”The technical service team of India's leather business with the backup support of the global promotion team of Clariant can deliver high level of service to the Indian leather industry to meet the ever improving global standards”.
