Kurl-on wins the Coir Industry Awards

Kurl-on, the country's No.1 brand in the mattress industry has been lauded by the nation's coir board as recognition of their exemplary contribution and achievement in this industry. This year the company has bagged an award in the following category:

“Achievements in Domestic Market Development of Rubbersied Coir Products”

Kurl-on received the award at a scintillating function organized by Government of India's 'Coir Industry Awards 2008 – 09' at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi today. The award was received by Mr. Sudhakar Pai, Chairman & Managing Director Kurl-on. The company has been consistent in receiving these awards for more than fifteen years in acknowledgement of their contribution to the coir industry.

While speaking on Kurl-on's achievement, Mr Sudhakar Pai, Chairman and Managing Director, Kurl-on said, “We are extremely elated to have won the award once again. It's a great honour to receive such prestigious awards. I dedicate this award to my entire team in Kurl-on who have put in their heart and soul to establish the company as market leaders.”

According to Mr. Sivaram, Chief Marketing Officer, Kurl-on, “Kurlon is embarking on a multi-pronged strategy to expand its market. Our priority is to reach our customers as efficiently and quickly as we can, thus emphasising the role played by our dealers in this process. We have launched Kurl-on Nest stores in all the major cities in India which offer a complete range of home furnishings. The company, which currently sells through a network of 5,000 retail shops, aims to double the network size in the next two to three years.”
